A Week of Dreams Coming True: Signatures, Story Times, and 120+ Copies
If you follow us on TikTok, you might have seen a very exciting video today. After weeks of anticipation, the hardcover editions of When I grow up, what will I be? have officially arrived at Moonbeam Learning Studio!!!
There is something so magical about holding the hardcover version. The thickness of the pages, the vibrant colors of the illustrations, and that glossy cover…it’s everything we dreamed it would be and more!
The First Batch is Heading Out! 📦💨
If you know me personally, you won’t be surprised at all that I chose to sign these in deep teal! I spent the afternoon in the studio today with my favorite markers in hand, signing the very first batch of copies for our early supporters.
What’s happening now:
- Personalized Signatures: Each copy is being hand-signed with a little extra love (did you see that embossed title page in the video?!).
- Special Packaging: We’re tucking in our “Thank You” cards and getting them ready for their journey to your front door.
- Shipping: The first wave is officially heading to the post office tomorrow!
From Screen to Spine
Seeing this book evolve from notes on my phone, to a Canva file, to a printed manuscript with hand-drawn art in my sketchpad, to now a gorgeous physical book that our family will cherish forever is a feeling I can’t quite describe.
This week has been such a whirlwind of special moments. On Monday, I woke up to find we had sold 50 books overnight! We have officially sold over 120 copies, and we just hosted an amazing, high-energy story times at My Gym Frisco and My Gym Plano. I am feeling so incredibly overwhelmed by the love and support from this community!

Your support is what allows us to keep creating stories that help kids embrace what makes them unique. As an indie author, I could not have asked for a better book launch.
